Client Contact – Clinic Training Provided:
Consultant: Provides accurate pregnancy options, pregnancy tests, and related support services for clients. We request a commitment of three hours each week.
Teacher: Facilitates classes in life skills on topics ranging from pre-natal development, newborn care, and parenting from 1 year to 18 years. We request a commitment of three hours each week.
Male Advocate: Provides accurate pregnancy options to men, one-on-one counseling and facilitates classes in fatherhood on topics including pre-natal development, understanding what the mother is experiencing, and fatherhood. We request a commitment of two hours each week.
Minimal Client Contact – Clinic Training Provided:
Office/Administration Operations: Copying various forms, filing, stocking brochures, writing thank-you notes, and more. Previous office experience is helpful but not required.
Family Store: Sort, arrange, and organize donated baby items and clothes in the family store. To keep the family store “fresh” for our young clients. Prepare layettes for “our” babies.
Church Representative: Be the bridge between your church and this ministry by keeping your pastor and staff informed about our events. Supply and collect baby bottles, brochures, etc.
Board Member: We need involved, influential community members, and involved family leaders with a heart for our life-affirming work. Monthly meetings, fundraising and event involvement are a part of this commitment.
Donate Material Goods: We need new or like-new brand-name baby clothes up to size 2T, as well as strollers, highchairs, bassinets, etc. as incentives for class attendance. We also provide emergency supplies of diapers, wipes, and formula to those in need. Please check with us regarding formula brands and diaper sizes.
Laundry Angel: Wash and/or press baby clothing as needed.
Host a Baby Shower: Have fun with your friends while gathering baby items for Life Choices! We can provide a representative to share about our ministry. (See needs list above)
Fundraising Activities – Special Events: Lend a hand with annual events such as our spring and fall banquets. Help with preparation, mailings, auction item acquisition, phone calls, set-up, tear-down, etc.
Prayer Partner: If you would like to pray for our clients, staff, and board members please send us your e-mail address and you will be added to our prayer list. We will e-mail you of urgent situations as they arise.
